Definition of Sedition
Friday
Sedition is conduct or language inciting rebellion against the authority of a state.
Sedition is the crime of creating a revolt, disturbance, or violence against lawful civil authority with the intent to cause its overthrow or destruction. Because it is limited to organizing and encouraging opposition to government rather than directly participating in its overthrow, sedition is regarded as falling one step short of the more serious crime of treason.
Every legitimate government in existence has a law against sedition. It is a basic principle of the survival of a government that it doesn't allow itself to be usurped. Those governments who did not have laws against plotting to overthrow the government do not exist any longer. They have been overthrown.
The bad news for Jihadis is that as soon as enough of us non-Muslims realize that jihad and Shari'a — in other words, primary Islamic teachings — are inherently seditious and punishable according to already-existing laws. The sooner we have that collective insight, the sooner the relentless Islamic political encroachment will be stopped.
Here's how you can help that time come sooner.

Thanks, Humbled Infidel.
I've been writing definitions for certain words I use a lot because I didn't like the multicultural, politically-correct, watered-down definitions I find on most online dictionaries.
So I have defined multiculturalism, kafir, Jihadi, apatheist, etc.
I also consider this a service I can provide other people who are trying to help educate our fellow kafirs. When they talk about (or write about) concessions non-Muslims are making to Islam they can send a link to http://concess.blogspot.com and make it clear to their uninitiated friends what they're talking about. I hope these definitions come in handy.
Citizen Warrior,
I have an interesting question for you.
Sharia maybe sedition, but could it also be considered treason? Could supporting those who support Sharia also be considered supporting our enemies in a time of war, since we are at war with nations that support Sharia, and they are encouraging those societies? According to the U.S constitution Treason is giving aid and comfort to the nation's enemies.
Damien, answers.com says sedition is the "crime of creating a revolt, disturbance, or violence against lawful civil authority with the intent to cause its overthrow or destruction. Because it is limited to organizing and encouraging opposition to government rather than directly participating in its overthrow, sedition is regarded as falling one step short of the more serious crime of treason. In the U.S. the display of a certain flag or the advocacy of a particular movement, such as syndicalism, anarchism, or communism, has periodically been declared seditious."
If it could be shown that a Jihadi was directly participating in overthrowing the government, it would be treason. If he was merely inciting others to do so, it would be sedition.
Either one is a danger to the existing government and should not be tolerated.
You are correct that any Jihadi in America that supports (by raising money, for example) the efforts of Al Qaeda or the Taliban is aiding the nation's enemies. By that definition, it is treason. I see no reason it couldn't be prosecuted as such.
Citizen Warrior,
Thanks for your clarification.
BEFORE 9/11 VIRTUALLY EVERY MUSLIM WEBSITE EITHER HAD REALLY VIOLENT MATERIAL ON JIHAD, OR IT THEY LINKED TO IT, OR ONE OF THE SITES THEY LINKED TO DID. IT WAS NEVER MORE THAN THREE DEEP.
ALL THEIR LEADERSHIP IS IN ON IT!
Anonymous, you said before 911 Muslim websites had violent material on them. Of course they did. The Qur'an is full of violent material. Actually, only the last fourth of the book is really violent and intolerant, but because of the rule of abrogation, those violent passages overwrite the earlier more peaceful and tolerant verses.
To learn more about what is in the Qur'an, I recommend the book, A Simple Koran. It contains every passage of the Koran organized for easier reading, written in modern English, and with explanatory notes (because some of the passages of the Koran refer to events in Mohammad's life, and without knowing about those events, you wouldn't know what the passage was about).
It would be wise for every non-Muslim to read the Qur'an.
Here's a little more explanation of "abrogation," from the article, The Qur'an — The Book of Allah:
The principle of abrogation says that verses revealed later in Muhammad's career "abrogate" — i.e., cancel and replace — earlier ones whose instructions they may contradict.
Thus, passages revealed later in Muhammad's career, in Medina, overrule passages revealed earlier, in Mecca. The Quran itself lays out the principle of abrogation:
"2:106. Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We {Allah} abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allah is able to do all things?"
It seems that 2:106 was revealed in response to skepticism directed at Muhammad that Allah's revelations were not entirely consistent over time. Muhammad's rebuttal was that "Allah is able to do all things" — even change his mind.
Citizen Warrior:
We need to take a longer view. To 'take over' or 'take down' a country of hundreds of millions is an incredibly ambitious undertaking.
Joseph Stalin had a special interest
and inserted personally known operatives whose efforts have continued quite successfully to this day.
Stay tuned: Uncle Sam may be waking up, and many of us will be surprised.
Thank you for your work, and I pray that your courage and loyalty will overcome any sentimental and monetary obstructions that very highly placed subversive centers
will likely offer you, in return for overlooking their efforts.
Again, thank you for your work.
