This site is worth its weight in gold.
And more.
I will continue to send people here to learn about this very clear and present danger.
Thank you!

If http://www.islam-101.org/ were an Islamic site rather then a Christian site that is anti-Islam I would be more apt to believe the negative quotes you have posted from the various chapters on your page
http://www.citizenwarrior.com/2007/10/islam-101.html

Is there anything at Islamic sites that back what islam-101 claims? Or is islam-101 just giving it's opinion, or recycling info it found at other anti-Islam sites? Where is the evidence? I'm from Missouri - the Show Me state. LOL!

Hi Kara,

I'm not a Christian, but I have read the Koran, and Islam 101 is accurate. Not even exaggerated. If you truly want to know whether all this stuff is true or not, stop reading second-hand sources and read the Koran for yourself. It is not nearly as difficult as you might think. Check this out:

Read The Koran To See What Jihadis Are Reading

Ok, thanks for replying so fast! I was looking at the page at your link and am wondering if the An Abridged Koran is translated from the Arabic or just from some other English translation?

Also the site mentions contradictions in the Koran. That's pretty irrelevant to me since there are so many of them in the Bible too and the Bible doesn't even explain it, like the Koran supposedly does.

Hey Dude, I really enjoy reading your site and appreciate your time to send me the link!

Please don't be offended that I will compare verses in the An Abridged Koran to those in a Koran at an Islamic site. I can't accept something as true just because someone claims it's true, regardless of their religion or lack thereof.

Kara, I'm not offended at all. I would hope everyone would do just that. When I first wanted to read the Koran, I bought a standard-issue Koran made for Muslims and tried to read it. I found it extremely difficult because it was written in Olde English!

So I got A Simple Koran, which I then checked against the standard version to make sure they matched. In other words, I looked up a passage in one and then looked up the same passage in the other and compared them. It was a perfect match. I kept doing it for different passages until I was satisfied the modern version was not modified to put a bad light on Islam. I was satisfied. It was true to the original.

But A Simple Koran was in modern English, so it was easier to read.

The reason the contradictions in the Koran are important is because of the principle of abrogation.

Are there any passages in any versions of the Koran that say it is wrong to be a suicide bomber so that one can get passage to Heaven?

Citizen Warrior 1:04 PM

Islamic doctrine forbids suicide. However, dying while killing the enemy gets you a ticket to Paradise.

When I first read the Koran cover to cover in 1997 I bought a hard cover and used a notebook to write what I'd just read in my own words.

Now I recommend to people to go to www.politicalislam.com or read one online but to use a A4 pad and do what I did read it, think about what it says and then write it on the pad in your own words.

The Sharia all makes sense after you've done that cover to cover.
Then you can read the sira and then start on a hadith.
I've done this since 1997 every year and whilst it is simple it works for me.

Citizen warrior - Killing the enemy while defending your country/life/what's right will give you a ticket to heaven. Muslims cannot offend others, but they sure can defend themselves and their rights.

Muslims cannot offend others?

You must mean they are not allowed to be the aggressor. But Muhammad and his present day followers have gotten around that, haven't they?

One of the most unusual articles on CitizenWarrior.com is Pleasantville and Islamic Supremacism.

It illustrates the Islamic Supremacist vision by showing the similarity between what happened in the movie, Pleasantville, and what devout fundamentalist Muslims are trying to create in Islamic states like Syria, Pakistan, or Saudi Arabia (and ultimately everywhere in the world).
